Apparently loyalty comes at a price these days, if Paul Sackey's approach to a new contract with London Wasps is anything to go by.

The England winger told the Mirror he hopes to stay at the club he supports, but will need to receive the right offer first.

At 30 years old he only expects to be playing for another three or four years and with his contract running out this summer he has had offers from France as well as a pair of Guinness Premiership clubs.

Commenting on his desire to continue with Wasps - as long as the money is right - Sackey stated: "They are my club and if they make me the right offer, I'll happily stay with them until I retire."

If Sackey were to head across the Channel he would join the likes of former Wasps stars Riki Flutey and James Haskell, who are among the English players to have been lured by the money on offer at French clubs.
