Leinster, Ireland and British & Irish Lions centre Brian O'Driscoll has given Michael Cheika the green light to sign him for Stade Francais when his contract ends next summer.

BOD was talking to the Irish Indendent ahead of Leinsters crunch Heineken Cup match against Clermont Auvergne and made the claims that will worry Leinster fans.

O'Driscoll was commenting on the departure of current Leinster coach Michael Chieka to Stade Francais this summer and indicated he could be persuaded to move next summer.

BOD said "I did have a big interest in moving (previously). I was a bit dismayed about Leinster going through three coaches in three years.

"I wondered were Leinster going anywhere, but Michael Cheika gave us that stability.

"But that doesn't mean you have to stay in one club for your whole career. If the situation arose, I would certainly be open to the idea of it.

"I still have 18 months left on my current contract. I'll wait until he (Michael Cheika) gets over to Paris and see if he wants an old, battered 32-year-old."

O'Driscoll's contract with the Irish Rugby Football Union expires after next years Rugby World Cup and so he would not be free to move until after then.
