Brian O'Driscoll, who will gain his 100th cap when stepping out for Ireland against Wales this weekend, is a rugby player who has it all, according to one former international.

Australian legend Tim Horan, who terrorised defences from centre on 80 occasions for his country, said that Brian O'Driscoll is one of the best complete players he has ever faced, and that includes some all-time greats.

Although Horan played against the likes of Jeremy Guscott, rated one of the finest all-rounders in the history of the game, he believes O'Driscoll's combination of pace, power, skill and rugby brain is unmatched in the modern era.

"Jeremy Guscott was one of the best attacking players I ever played against but Brian O'Driscoll has the all-round package. He understands the game. The great players seem to have a lot of time to make decisions on the field and he has that," Horan said.

This week's opposition coach Warren Gatland has also thrown his hat into the ring when claiming that O'Driscoll "deserves all the accolades" that have been bestowed upon him.
