Andy Robinson's first three games in charge of Scotland won't be easy, but that isn't stopping him from starting out in controversial fashion.

The former England coach's new side face Australia and Argentina after this weekend's visit of Fiji - all three being ranked above the Scots.

And after announcing that Chris Cusiter and Mike Blair are to share the captaincy for the foreseeable future - whichever of the scrum-halfs is on the pitch taking the responsibility - he has now made a host of changes for the first autumn international.

Just five players from the starting line-up that faced England in March remain, with Alex Grove set to win his first cap despite few Scots having heard of the Worcester centre.

Phil Godman takes the number ten shirt as Chris Paterson will warm the bench alongside Blair, who will have to bide his time to prove he is better-placed to lead the side than Cusiter.
