Byrne and Godman trip debate rages on

Was Byrne tripped or did he milk it?

The Scottish back was adjudged to have tripped Lee Byrne after allegedly going for a charge down with a minute left on the clock and the home side three points behind.
However, Godman claims Byrne "made a meal of it" and unfairly cajoled the referee into dishing out a second Scotland sin bin, which effectively handed Wales the match in the dying seconds.
"I jumped up to try and get the ball. There was no malice at all. He milked it. I did not stick my foot out and trip him," Godman said.
However, Byrne hit back: "The video evidence will show it was a trip. I kicked the ball through and Phil left his left foot there."
It was a game full of incidents, both on and off the field, with Scottish wing Thom Evans also requiring neck surgery after running into Byrne. TV replays showed Byrne put his knee on Evans' neck while trying to get up but all parties agree it was an accident.
While the partying went on into the early hours of Sunday morning, one reveller who took things too far had played a role in the game.
Welsh flanker Andy Powell managed to dodge the Scottish defence for most of the game but was less successful in evading the clutches of the police, as he and another man were reportedly arrested after being caught driving a golf buggy near the M4 at dawn the next day.
