Robinson and Gatland clash as 'roof row' escalates
Thursday 11 February 2010
Robinson said that the Scots are abiding by the rules by requesting the roof remains open and claims his team are not used to playing in those conditions.
"We want the roof open. All the other games are played without a roof. This is the only place where you can have a roof. We are abiding by the rules, we've made the request, let's deal with it," said Robinson.
Gatland responded by saying that he did not understand the Scots calls to have the roof open even if it is raining.
The Welsh coach believes that if there is rain, opening the roof could make for negative rugby, which he does not want to see.
