Jonathan Thomas: Naivety has ruined Wales' Six Nations

Thomas has blamed Wales' defeats on naivety
Monday 1 March 2010
After another defeat on Friday, which was a consequence of a poor first half performance, Thomas said that a failure to play "conservative" rugby has contributed to Wales languishing in mid-table with no hope of a championship title.
"We're not starting the game in the manner that we should. We must make sure we're error free as we are guilty of playing a bit too much in our own half and giving away far too many interception tries," he said.
Thomas added that Wales can make line breaks against any side in the world when they are on form, but said Friday's game illustrated that eliminating errors is the key against clinical sides such as France.
Meanwhile, France now seem unstoppable in this year's competition, a likelihood backed up by bookmakers, who have made the nation 2/9 to win the 2010 Grand Slam.
