The New Zealand All Blacks latest hot property, full back Israel Dagg, has signed a two year contract to play for the Crusaders in Canterbury for the next two Super 15 seasons.

He leaves the Highlanders after a two year spell and after a personally successful last Super 14 season in which he broke into the All Black ranks for this years June tests and Tri Nations squads.

Crusaders head coach Todd Blackadder commented on the signing: "We are very happy to have secured Israel for next season's inaugural Super rugby competition and beyond. He is a special talent and we're sure he will fit in at the Crusaders very well."
