Wade Cooper's arrest for burglary at the end of last week following a buck's party on the Gold Coast has taken a lot of press attention away from the upcoming 2010 Super 14 season.

But it hasn't turned the heads of the player's teammates at Queensland Reds.

At least this is according to coach Ewen McKenzie, who was quoted by the Brisbane Times as saying the side are concentrating as hard as ever on the task at hand - a possible indication that they could be on for yet another finish at the foot-end of the league.

"This week has had it's distractions. But it's a distraction outside the squad. The squad has been very focused about their preparation," he remarked.

Words such as this will no doubt drive fear into the hearts of the Reds' rivals - the Cheetahs and the Lions - as they battle it out to win the wooden spoon.ADNFCR-2652-ID-19502532-ADNFCR
